Hace 25 años, más o menos, hice este atril con mi compañero Miguel Navarro. Lo forjamos como demostración de taller en vivo en la plaza de la iglesia de Nigüelas, durante una feria de artesanía y turismo rural. ¡Tardamos dos días! Después, lo presentamos al Ayuntamiento. Acabo de darle unos retoques en mi taller y ya está listo para volver a la plaza y ser utilizado por nuestro pregonero de fiestas, Jesús Robles Alarcón.
About 25 years ago, I made this lectern with my colleague Miguel Navarro. We forged it as a live workshop demonstration in the church square of Nigüelas, during a craft and rural tourism fair. It took us two days! Afterwards, we presented it to the Town Hall. I have just given it some finishing touches in my workshop and it is now ready to go back to the square and be used by Jesús Robles Alarcón to open this year's fiesta.
