Watch the colour change. 🔥

As gold heats up, it transitions through deeper reds into a bright orange glow—the signal that it’s reached annealing temperature. At this point, the metal is softened and ready for further shaping.

A simple process with a big impact on the metal’s workability.

Mixed metals and layered jewellery are set to be one of 2026’s biggest trends.

This handcrafted bangle set combines sterling silver and copper for a beautiful contrast, with each band finished differently — waved, twisted, and polished copper — and held together with double feature rings.

Made to order in your choice of metals and finishes. The possibilities are endless. What would you choose?

A little ring with a lot of history.

This piece was originally handmade by my mum many years ago. While it didn’t hold great monetary value, its sentimental value was priceless. Over time, the stainless steel band became scratched, worn and tired, and the setting no longer reflected the beauty of the memories attached to it.

So rather than letting it sit unworn, we gave it a new lease of life.

The stone was carefully removed and reset into a solid silver band with a new oval setting, transforming it into something timeless while still preserving its story.

Jewellery doesn’t need to be expensive to be meaningful. Sometimes the pieces worth the most are the ones connected to memories, people and moments we never want to lose.

If you have broken, outdated or unworn jewellery tucked away, let’s see what we can create together and give your pieces a second chance.

From raw metal to a one-of-a-kind finish.

This wide brass and copper cuff began as warm, polished metal before layers of heat, chemistry, and time transformed it into something entirely unique. The patination process creates those deep, dramatic tones and organic colour shifts that can never be exactly repeated — every piece develops its own character.

Watch the transformation unfold from start to finish.

Experimenting with chemical patinas on copper has been one of the most fascinating parts of the process lately.

I love the unpredictability of it — watching the surface react, oxidise, and slowly transform into layered colours and textures. Every piece develops differently, which makes the whole process feel playful, and completely immersive.

One of my favourite techniques in jewellery making is granulation — I love the texture, detail, and organic feel it creates.

This silver bangle features tapered, forged ends finished with clusters of solid gold granules in different sizes. The contrast of warm gold against cool silver is such a beautiful combination and catches the light so softly ✨

Each piece is made to order and can be created in any metal combination.

This gentleman’s gold and diamond ring came to me for resizing, but during inspection it was clear the band had become extremely thin at the back — creating a weak point that would eventually lead to breakage.

Using gold supplied by the customer, I removed the worn section of the shank, melted all the gold down, and created a new thicker section to strengthen the ring while increasing the size.

The new section was then carefully soldered into place, before the ring was filed, refined and polished back to a clean finish, ready to be returned to its owner.

A great example of how proper resizing is not just about making a ring fit, but also ensuring it remains strong and wearable for years to come.

One of the most important skills in jewellery making is saw piercing.

Saw piercing is the process of carefully cutting intricate designs from sheet metal using a jeweller’s saw. It takes patience, precision, and control — every curve and detail is created by hand.

To practise and develop this skill, I used a piece of brass plate to saw out this flowing fish design. The delicate shapes and fine details helped me improve accuracy, control, and confidence with the saw frame.

A simple piece, but an important step in mastering traditional jewellery-making techniques.

A moment of calm, crafted in silver.
This spinner ring features a solid silver band with two gold and one silver spinning rings at its centre. Traditionally known as meditation or worry rings, spinner rings are designed to bring a sense of grounding—something to gently fidget with in moments of stress or stillness. A quiet reminder to pause, breathe, and reset. Can be made to order with your choice of metal combinations. Contact me for more information.

There’s something oddly satisfying about this part of the process.

After carefully sawing out the pattern, it’s time to burn away the paper—watching it disappear and reveal the clean metal underneath never gets old.

A little heat, a little patience, and suddenly the piece feels real.
