Bridal Bouquet Design for Zafi ✨

Z, my sis-in-law—thank you for trusting me with your bridal bouquet. It’s an honor I’ll carry with me forever.

My first bridal bouquet, and one that couldn’t be more meaningful—created with deep love and devotion.

A sculptural composition of lilies and tuberose, designed to hold one of the most significant moments of her life.
In harmony, the flowers unfold like a love story—pure, luminous, deeply felt. A union that lingers, in memory and in scent.

Flowers that carry weight—just like life and love do. A reflection of commitment, of meeting every weight with strength and grace.

This is what Zafi & Mati represent: love, strength, and something truly powerful.
Like love at first sight—the way they met, against all odds, guided by what was always meant to be: peace and love.

I love you both, and I’m so proud of you.

the essence 🧡 for

This Wednesday, May 14, marks the sixth edition of Future Fair—and four years since I first had the joy of designing for them.

Working with Future Fair has been incredibly special to me. Not only do they trust me with full creative freedom, but their mission deeply resonates: supporting emerging artists and galleries in sharing their work with the world. Being part of that—both as a designer and an artist—means everything.

They are true visionaries, building a platform for voices that are too often overlooked, and reshaping the art world with intention and heart.

Even more meaningful is that one of the founders is my beautiful best friend, Rebecca Laliberte. Her passion and dedication—alongside her incredible partner, Rachel—continue to inspire me. I’m endlessly proud of both of them.

Sharing the essence of my floral design process with Future Fair, and celebrating four years of creating, evolving, and being inspired together, feels incredibly full circle.

Today is National Flower Day—a celebration many may not be aware of. It’s a day dedicated to honoring flowers for their role in adorning our earth.

In their tribute, I’m highlighting Laura Robb and her stunning paintings, which beautifully capture light, form, and shape through flowers.

Robb’s work is deeply inspired by classical realism and the techniques of Old Masters like Rembrandt and Vermeer, giving her paintings a timeless, atmospheric quality.

She has painted various flowers, but roses and peonies appear frequently in her work. These flowers align with her signature style due to their rich textures, layered petals, and ability to capture light beautifully.

Wondered if I would feel 🥀

The red remains and holds — if you are willing to go through the blues and oranges — knowing that no love is perfect.

I like to let time pass and reflect—was it truly love, or just a fleeting feeling?
Love takes many forms: in a partner, in friendship, in family, in art, and in the passions that drive us. But real love lasts only when we are humble enough to grow, to respect, and to walk away when love is absent.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Self-love and self-respect free us from seeking love just to feel wanted. Reading “All About Love” by Bell Hooks made me fall in love with myself and the world again believing in love by allowing vulnerability to be present. It taught me the power of vulnerability, the courage to walk away, and the strength to keep pushing forward. True self-respect brings inner peace, allowing us to breathe & recalibrate.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This time I chose ranunculus—a flower of delicacy, radiance, and endurance—because love, in all its forms, should be both beautiful and deeply meaningful. A rose, with its thorns, teaches us how to flourish with both grace and resilience, because the reality is that love sometimes hurt but is always beautiful. And finally, a dahlia—a reminder that, in the end, beauty prevails, and everything unfolds as it should, no matter the outcome.

Be open to love in new ways. Apologize when needed, communicate with maturity, and remember that love isn’t just about you. Be present for those who stand by you—and even for those who can’t. Choose the right side of your life’s history by choosing yourself and those who honor your love in return.

My love story always prevails—because I love myself first, and only then do I choose to love others.

Sweet red roses for the night 🥀

Timeless symbol or overused cliché?

They’ve carried the weight of love and passion for centuries, yet somehow, they’ve become predictable. Is it the flower that’s lost its magic, or is it the way we see it? Perhaps the meaning lies in the intention, not just the petals.

To me, they embody a love so deep and passionate, it pulls you into life’s embrace.

Perception is one of the most powerful mental processes of interpretation, and there are always two sides to every story. And both, are equally valid.

Deep reds are my choice, no matter the petals – they are timeless and profound, because to my eye, each one is singular and unmatched.
