Annabelle Hardie

Annabelle Hardie An Outback Australian Accessories Designer based in Madrid, Spain. Handmaking slow fashion with flam Since we are all unique, style too should be personalised.

Many moons ago, at 17, Annabelle started her first accessory and womens' clothing label, Minterbelle, sourcing materials and manufacturing the clothes out of India. Her jewellery designs were worn on and off set, of the iconic Australian show, Home and Away by Kate Ritchie, Rebecca Hewitt and Australian muse, Isabel Lucas. Later, she moved on to design accessories for the Australian sportswear lab

el, Lorna Jane. Her itching curiosity of what lay behind the never ending horizons of her childhood and her trips to India gave her the thirst to be a full-time Wanderluster. In 2008, she took off with a backpack and an around the world ticket, traveling solo. The day her feet touched Spanish soil, she was lost forever, hopelessly in love with Spain and couldn't help but walk to her new Spanish beat. She sold everything she owned and packed her bags for Madrid in 2010 when she won a scholarship to study Fashion and Accessories Design in the leading Institute of European Design. Her first year designs were invited to be exhibited in the Paris Fashion Week at the Louvre in 2011 and later in La Caixa Forum in Madrid as part of their Sustainable Fashion Movement exhibitions. In the European summer of 2012, Annabelle launched a new accessories label called Three Lives Collide with her best friend, Hannah Morgan, a psychologist based in Sydney. Under Three Lives Collide, Annabelle designed pieces for the Spanish actress sensation, Blanca Suarez for events such as the Valentino party. Annabelle's love for wine and costume design came together when she completed her thesis in 2013. Working with Spanish photographer Jorge Alvariño and Venezuelan artist Robert Tirado, she designed a collection of wine bottles and their packaging and made a marketing campaign in an underwater photo shoot and short film to launch the first wine of the collection for the Spanish winery, Elesvinos. Upon graduating from IED, Annabelle received her first bridal gown client, Sian. She also made the bridesmaids' accessories, and from there, viola, the aisle to bridal wear opened up. Since then she has personally accessorised many brides, bridesmaids, flower girls, guests and even the groom and his groomsmen too. She recently married her Spanish love in Spain, and of course, couldn't resist the temptation to break all the traditional bridal wear design rules. In the European summer of 2016, Annabelle decided to combine all of her loves and talents and launch her own jewellery, bridal and costume design label. Everything is made by hand by Annabelle, in her Madrid studio, from high quality materials of which many she has collected from mountain tops, exotic beaches, vast deserts and hidden back alleyways over the years traveling. She strives to never repeat a piece, because in a world of global fast fashion, it's hard to find something that is essentially, you. Due to requests from all corners of the globe, she has recently launched an online jewellery store that ships worldwide so that anyone, from anywhere can purchase their own unique treasure, anytime. Because Annabelle's philosophy is that distance should have no boundaries and it's always worth going that extra mile. store:

Cada pequeño elemento cuenta. En el diseño, los detalles son los que marcan la diferencia entre algo común y algo especial. ✨

Cuando todo está cuidado, el resultado se percibe sin necesidad de explicarlo. Es una sensación que acompaña cada vez que llevas una pieza así. 💫

🌟 Si una frase te inspira, cuéntamelo por WhatsApp al 697 791 917 y diseñaré algo único para ti.

Every small element matters. In design, details define what makes something special. ✨

PART 2 - Finding my creative beat!
It took me a while to figure out the stories I really wanted to tell through my accessories. Life is full of trials and errors but now I feel I've found my feet walking to another creative beat.

Ten years of creating slow fashion, with flamenco passion — I genuinely don't know what I'd do without every one of you passing these stories on every time you wear one of my pieces.

As promised... here's your gift: 25% off any order online with the code 10LAPS until midnight (Madrid time) Sunday the 13th of September - Muchísimas gracias!! 🙏✨

This one-woman show that's never actually been a one-woman job, thankyou to every artisan and creative who's helped bring it to life along the way.

Thank you for all your help with this reel too, I'd have been lost without you! Xo

PART 1 - How it all began... This summer, we're celebrating 10 years of Annabelle Hardie — and I still can't quite believe I'm doing this, because I'm so embarrassed by the sound of my own voice, but I figured it was about time I shared the backstory of how we got here. Stay tuned for Part 2... it's coming with a gift! ✨
