Launched in 2009, the jewelry label OggDESIGN is founded on Béatrice Oggier's passion for gemstones.

After a trip to India captured her spirit and imagination, Béatrice left a successful career in finance to become a jewelry designer of unique talent. To top a Bachelor of Laws and an MBA from Switzerland, Béatrice earned gemology and jewelry design degrees in Barcelona and Milan.

Currently based in Barcelona, each piece by OggDESIGN is delicately handmade under the curation of Béatrice at every stage: from the search and selection of gemstones, to the craftsmanship and finishing in the atelier.

Characterised by colourful pieces, OggDESIGN encapsulates the wonderment held in the natural, precious beauty of gemstones and jewels.

De una piedra especial a un anillo único. 💜

Esta amatista oval no es una piedra elegida al azar. La buscamos especialmente para una clienta que tenía muy clara su idea: quería una amatista con un carácter particular y un color que la enamorara.

Una vez encontrada la piedra perfecta, llegó el momento de diseñar un anillo pensado exclusivamente para ella.

✨ El diseño 3D ya está terminado.
✨ El oro amarillo de 18 quilates ya está preparado.
✨ El próximo paso: prototipado y fundición.

Ahora empieza la transformación de una idea en una joya real, creada para una persona y su historia.

Porque la joyería a medida no consiste simplemente en elegir una piedra bonita. Consiste en encontrar esa piedra, darle forma a una idea y diseñar algo que no podría pertenecer a nadie más.

From a special gemstone to a one-of-a-kind ring. 💜

This oval amethyst wasn’t chosen at random. We searched specifically for a client who had a clear vision: a distinctive amethyst with a colour she would fall in love with.

Once we found the right gemstone, it was time to design a ring created exclusively for her.

✨ The 3D design is complete.
✨ The 18k yellow gold is ready.
✨ Next step: prototyping and casting.

Now comes the transformation of an idea into a real piece of jewellery, designed for one person and her story.

Because bespoke jewellery is about more than choosing a beautiful gemstone. It’s about finding the one, bringing an idea to life and creating something that belongs to no one else.

No, no es necesariamente por las inclusiones ni porque contenga hierro u otros minerales. 🤎

Su tonalidad marrón se debe principalmente a deformaciones microscópicas de su estructura cristalina, que modifican la forma en que absorbe la luz.

💎Why does a ch*****ne diamond have its distinctive colour?

It’s not necessarily caused by inclusions or the presence of iron or other minerals. 🤎

Its brown colour is mainly linked to microscopic distortions in its crystal structure, which affect how it absorbs light.

The result? A natural diamond with warm, sophisticated tones and a personality of its own. And yes, it can be a beautiful choice for an engagement ring!

💙Últimos retoques en el diseño del anillo Lapiz antes de pasar a fundición💙

Una joya no se termina cuando el diseño está hecho. A veces, es ahí donde empieza lo más interesante. ✨

Estoy dando los últimos retoques a este anillo con lapislázuli: ajustando proporciones, revisando volúmenes y afinando cada detalle antes de pasar a fabricación.

Del diseño 3D al prototipo, cada decisión cuenta. No se trata solo de conseguir una pieza bonita, sino de encontrar ese equilibrio entre la piedra, la forma y cómo todo encaja en el conjunto.

Es una de las partes que más disfruto de diseñar joyas a medida: trabajar en los detalles que quizá no se aprecian a primera vista, pero que marcan la diferencia en el resultado final.

A piece of jewellery isn’t finished when the design is complete. Sometimes, that’s when the most interesting part begins. ✨

I’m putting the final touches to this lapis lazuli ring, refining its proportions, checking the volumes and perfecting every detail before production.

From the 3D design to the prototype, every decision matters. It’s about finding the right balance between the gemstone, the shape and the overall design.

This is one of my favourite parts of bespoke jewellery design: working on the details you might not notice at first glance, but that make all the difference in the finished piece.

Este anillo sello en oro amarillo ha sido diseñado a medida para mi clienta, pensando en la forma, las proporciones y, por supuesto, en esta preciosa piedra de lapislázuli en talla cabujón.

Ahora que el diseño está aprobado, el siguiente paso es la fundición y después, todo el trabajo artesanal que dará forma a la pieza final.

Porque una joya a medida no es solo un diseño: es un proceso creado alrededor de ti, de tu historia y de lo que quieres llevar.

This yellow gold signet ring was designed especially for my client, carefully considering the proportions, the shape and, of course, this beautiful cabochon-cut lapis lazuli.

Now that the design has been approved, the next step is casting, followed by the craftsmanship that will bring the final piece to life.
