When I started my one-man goldsmith workshop in a small town in Denmark back in 2018, I never expected my work to travel across the world 🌍 or that more than 50,000 people would follow my journey here on Instagram.

Recently, we handcrafted this solid 18k gold pinky ring, set with 1.56 ct of snow pavé champagne diamonds, for .russellhartley in the USA.

Alexander wanted something truly special to propose with. He liked a design we had made before, but with much larger diamonds and a few personal adjustments.

The result is this handmade 18k ring, set with two 0.30 ct pear-shaped diamonds, two 0.40 ct oval diamonds, and a 0.90 ct round brilliant-cut center stone — all with GIA certificates.

She said Yes ♥️✨

We can clearly feel it in the workshop:

Even though we still create many rings fully set with diamonds,
the simple look is becoming strong again.

A truly special ring 💍
Made from the customer’s own old gold and set with blue (treated) diamonds. In a rustic design, made to the client’s wishes.

At the very end of the process, I set the main stone – the customer’s own opal.
The opal is set in a bezel setting, providing the best possible protection for this delicate stone.

A job with no room for mistakes – opals are beautiful, but extremely fragile ✨
