10 years ♥️🥲🙏
On this day 10 years ago, I opened my photography business — what would later, through a few unexpected turns (including a brief crystal shop chapter 🤍), become my jewellery business.
For 10 years now, I’ve had the privilege of creating. First, capturing beautiful moments and stories through photography, and later creating pieces that get to become part of people’s lives and stories. What a privilege.
I stepped into it all rather naively, not knowing much about running a business — and definitely not knowing where it would take me.
If these 10 years have taught me anything, it’s that you never really know where a meeting, a person or an opportunity might lead you. Some meetings turned into deep friendships, others opened doors to places and creative paths I could never have imagined when I started.
I’ve also learned that something that might feel insignificant or even pointless at the time can turn out to matter years later — or simply become a lesson you needed without knowing it at the time.
One thing led to another. Photography led me somewhere else, a little crystal shop became part of the story, and eventually I found my way to jewellery — something I certainly never imagined would become the heart of my business and the path I chose to follow.
Looking back, I’m beyond grateful. It’s been a wild ride, to say the least.
Building your own business, finding your way and continuing to believe in what you create is no joke. There have been a lot of ups and downs, doubts, changes and a lot of figuring things out on my own along the way.
But thankfully, it’s been really worth it.
And last but not least a big thank you to family, friends, Ladyfingers gang and customers for your love and support ♥️🙏 Here’s to whatever comes next. ❤️
