Meet Paco.

Our new ambassador, in-house collector, and the only man we know who can look at a watch for three seconds and tell you whether it has soul.

Paco does not follow trends.
He remembers when today’s grails were sitting quietly in display cases.
He has opinions on case proportions, bracelet integration, and why some watches should never be polished.

He smokes slowly.
He collects seriously.

And when the world argues, Paco wears the watch.

Introducing Paco’s Wrist, our new collector series from ETP Watches.

First up: the Patek Philippe Cubitus 5821/1AR-001.

“They laughed when the Cubitus arrived.

Of course they did.

Collectors say they want something new, until a brand actually gives them something new. The media saw a square Nautilus. I saw Patek testing the future of its own language.

Do you actually want something new, or just another version of what already made you comfortable?

The Cubitus is not trying to please everyone. That is why I like it. It has tension: steel and rose gold, sport and elegance, familiarity and discomfort. It feels recognisably Patek, but with a sharper, more modern posture.

I understand the idea behind it. Patek needed a watch for a new generation, not by abandoning its heritage, but by stretching it.

The best watches are not always loved immediately. Sometimes the crowd needs time.

I wear the Cubitus because it is early.

Because it has conviction.

And because by the time everyone understands it, I will already have lived with it.”

The flippers have left. The collectors stayed.

Eighteen months after launch, the Patek Philippe Cubitus 5821/1A still trades at a +94% premium above retail. Down just 1.8% from its November 2024 peak of €112,500.

This is the part of the cycle where a watch proves what it’s actually worth.

Patek’s first new sports reference in 27 years isn’t sitting. It’s holding at €88–95k on the secondary market, against €45,500 at the AD.

🏁 Rolex Daytona “Le Mans” - A Tribute to Endurance and Elegance

Few watches capture the spirit of speed and legacy like the Rolex Daytona, and few races symbolize endurance and human ambition like Le Mans.

Born from Rolex’s longstanding partnership with the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the yellow gold “Le Mans” Daytona stands as a modern homage to motorsport history.

From Paul Newman’s America to Tom Kristensen’s Denmark, the connection continues.
Kristensen, known as “Mr. Le Mans,” brought pride to Denmark with nine victories at the Circuit de la Sarthe. His legacy resonates deeply with us at ETP Watches, based in Denmark, where the pursuit of precision and endurance defines our ethos.

A Legend Returns!

The first stainless steel Patek Philippe Ref. 1518, the watch that made history in 2016 at 11,002,000 Swiss francs, is back under the hammer this November at Phillips Geneva.

Only four steel 1518s exist. This is the market shaping icon that transformed Patek from a collectors secret into auction royalty. The estimate this season is above 8,000,000 Swiss francs.

At we offer discreet consulting for acquiring and selling auction worthy pieces. Whether you want to bid, exit or position a watch for maximum impact, we help you move with confidence in a complex market.
