Kongelige smykkeudstillinger. Guldsmed Bodil Binner og smykkeskribent Nina Hald har et mangeårigt samarbejde omkring kongelige smykkeudstillinger. I 2009 tog de initiativ til og var medarrangører på udstillingen ”Tiara – Smykkets Dronning, Dronningers Smykker”

✨ Til Bal Paa Slottet ✨

Den 20. juni åbner særudstillingen Til Bal Paa Slottet på smukke Gavnø Slot, hvor 33 guldsmede og smykkekunstnere fortolker hoved- og hårsmykket i en moderne kontekst.

Mit bidrag, Laird of the Highlands, er skabt i 18 karat guld med en specialtilsleben ametyst på 32,6 carat samt detaljer i silke og ruskind. Værket er inspireret af den skotske tidsel - et symbol på styrke, ydmyghed og historie.

Smykket er skabt som en multifunktionel kreation, der kan bæres både som hårbånd, strømpebånd eller broche, og trækker samtidig tråde til fortællingen om Hosebåndsordenen og devisen Honi soit qui mal y pense.

Jeg glæder mig til at være en del af denne særlige udstilling og til at dele værket med jer.

Udstillingen kan opleves på Gavnø Slot hele sommeren og efteråret.

A deep dive into jewellery as art.

Yesterday, the wonderful women from Zonta International visited my workshop in Copenhagen, where I gave a presentation on the process behind handcrafted jewellery, the stories behind my museum pieces, and the unique qualities of each gemstone.

It was truly amazing to give back to an organisation that does so much for women around the world.
