Just Copenhagen and one of its neighbourhoods. ❤️

This corner around Enghave Plads is one of the reasons why so many people fall in love with Vesterbro.

The bikes parked outside cafés. The conversations spilling onto the sidewalks. The independent shops. The leafy streets. The feeling that life moves just a little slower here.

It’s the kind of neighbourhood where there is no rush to get anywhere. Instead, you wander. You stop for a coffee. You take a different street home. You notice the details.

And when hunger finally arrives, you’ll find plenty of great places to sit down and enjoy the moment, including some truly authentic Italian pizza that feels like a little trip to Rome without leaving Copenhagen. 🍕And hey… it’s not just for pizza, you can have a drink or a set of lovely ‘antipasti’.

This is what we love most about Vesterbro: it’s not about one place, it’s about the atmosphere, the people, and all the small local gems that make the neighbourhood special.

Ad | Just been invited to experience this exquisite restaurant at Gammel Strand, and what a timing ✨

The very next day, the chef was awarded the Michelin Young Chef Award. What a privilege and a wonderful surprise to have had the chance to taste his cuisine right before this well-deserved recognition.

Recently renovated, the restaurant now offers a refreshed and elegant ambience in one of Copenhagen’s most iconic waterfront locations.

Our favourite dish? The orzo with razor clams and green asparagus, absolutely outstanding.

A true seafood experience in the heart of the city, elevated by thoughtful wines and a renewed vision ❤️

We spent the evening at the other night, and it’s easily one of the nicest spots we’ve been to lately.
It’s inside a beautiful old building right in the center of town, and they’ve basically put a restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a jazz club all in one place. We ended up staying the entire night, started with dinner, moved to the bar for drinks, and then headed downstairs for the live jazz with the fantastic ‘s voice! .
If you’re looking for a good place for a date night or just a long dinner with friends, we highly recommend checking it out. 🤩

Some places slowly surprise you the more time you spend there… and felt a bit like that to us. ✨

We first went for dinner, thinking it was simply a beautiful little restaurant in the city. Then we realised there was also a cocktail bar hidden inside… and downstairs, a cosy jazz room with live music.

We saw perform there recently and honestly, she was amazing. Such a warm and captivating performer, with the kind of voice that makes you forget about time for a while. 🎷

She’ll only be there until the 30th of May, so there are just a few evenings left to see her live.

The whole place has this intimate, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. We especially loved the fish menu (the lobster croissant is superb!), the wines, and just the feeling of discovering different little worlds inside the same place. 🍷🐟

is one of those bakeries in Coenhagen we always come back to. Not only because the pastries always have a special touch from .barla and the lovely team, but also because the atmosphere is calm, cozy, and just so easy to enjoy. One of those places where you want to stay a little longer, chat, and watch the city go by.

Yesterday they hosted a special event with an Italian baker making pizza right in the heart of the bakery. We had to try it, of course.
The one with wild garlic, potatoes, and crème fraîche was top ✨

Outside, people are kneeling on the sidewalk.
Inside, a Michelin-starred kitchen is passing out warm pastries through a tiny hole in the wall.

Only in Copenhagen. ✨

Hidden at , this little street-level window has quietly become one of the coolest pastry stops in the city. Bread, croissants, rhubarb spandauer… handed straight from the kitchen to the street.

And honestly, watching people stop, kneel down at the little window and order pastries straight from the kitchen feels so wonderfully Copenhagen. 🥐❤️🇩🇰🤩
