The process from idea to product is an iterative, exciting, at times aggravating, journey to create something one's proud of, a labour of love that you're excited to share with others.

So it was when we started with STUND, the world's first productivity and wearable. From the mind of our CTO Christian Andonovski, incredible design by Designersvane and other contributors, we get the satisfaction of seeing that journey loved by more and more wearers who want more focus and more presence.

Our STUND—besides being a lovely hand crafted Danish design timepiece—is, at its core, the world's first Pomodoro wearable. What's a Pomodoro wearable? It's a way to use the Pomodoro productivity method whereby you segment your tasks into intervals of 5, 15, 30, 45 minutes or one hour. You start a task by clicking your STUND to the focus interval you're working on; 100% focus, no mobile phones or connected watches hitting you with notifications, STUND is deliberately offline to create the radical focus you need to finish your Pomodoro. Finish your task and take a break—that scientifically creates a neurological phenomenon called a mesolimbic pathway to your amygdala releasing dopamine and giving you a well deserved sense of accomplishment.

Result? 25% increased productivity and focus and a 20% sense of wellness and decrease fatigue according to the NCIBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information).

Here in the Nordics, winter is turning to spring, cold to warmth, dark to light. It's a time of uncontrolled smiles and laughs, of joy. Of hope.

We named one of our crown colours Optimism Orange as homage to Simon Sinek 's core philosophy of optimism, of believing in better. And his signifier to illustrate that? Orange. Thank you Simon.
