Sometimes people ask me how Findeisen actually started.

The honest answer? Not with a grand master plan.

Life rarely moves in straight lines — and neither did mine. Different places, different chapters, different experiences shaped how I see things. Maybe that is why I’ve always appreciated objects with character. Things that are not overly polished, but grow more meaningful with time.

Around 2015, the idea for Findeisen slowly began to take shape. Not to build something spectacular for the sake of attention — but something lasting. Mechanical watches that feel right on the wrist, are carefully made, and bring joy for many years.

When I look at Findeisen today, I often think less about watches and more about people: customers who trust and support us, partners and friends who believed in the journey, and our team, whose care and dedication shape what we do every day.

And above all, my wife — my closest companion through all of this.

None of this feels self-evident.

So today, simply: thank you.

Introducing the new NauticMaster Field Diver in Prussian Blue — a color first discovered in Berlin around 1704 and known ever since for its deep, unmistakable character.

Crisp contrasts, rugged capability, and the same everyday versatility the Field Diver is built for.

We’ve also redesigned the stainless steel bracelet with female end links and a smaller clasp for an even more comfortable fit on the wrist.

FROM IRON TO ICON.

In the 1960s, Max Findeisen redesigned the dial of one of his watches, proudly adding his own surname. What began as a small, personal idea would take decades to become reality.

In 2017, his great-grandson Martin Zettl turned that legacy into the watch brand **Findeisen**.

The name itself reflects the brand’s philosophy. In medieval times, “Findeisen” was given to people who worked with iron — craftsmen whose skill shaped raw material into something lasting.

Today, that same spirit lives on in every timepiece.
