how do i wear a bra with new collarbone/chest tattoo.
okay got this new tat yesterday and it has second skin on, how do i wear a bra w it? will wearing a normal bra have any effect on the healing?

Frisches White-Ink-Tattoo vs. nach 3 Monaten abgeheilt.
Das zweite Bild wurde von meinem Kunden bei natürlichem Licht aufgenommen. ☺️ Das Tattoo wurde in einem Durchgang gestochen, ohne Nachbesserungen.
Ich biete aktuell kleinere Motive aus einer bestimmten Flash-Auswahl an, um im Rahmen eines Nebenprojekts neben meinen üblichen Tattoos mit weißer Tinte zu experimentieren.
Ziel dieses Projekts ist es herauszufinden, wie weiße Tinte auf unterschiedlichen Hauttönen verheilt und wie lange sie sichtbar bleibt.
Schaut euch gern auch meine anderen Beiträge an – ich poste regelmäßig Updates zu White-Ink-Tattoos und wie sie sich während des Heilungsprozesses entwickeln.
Es gibt heutzutage viele verschiedene Tattoo-Stile. Manche lieben es, andere können damit nichts anfangen – und das ist völlig okay. Kunst ist subjektiv. Man muss nicht alles mögen. Aber ich würde mich freuen, eure Meinungen oder Erfahrungen mit weißer Tinte in den Kommentaren zu hören, falls ihr welche teilen möchtet. 🫶

Ein Narben-Cover-up für eine tolle Frau, das den weiten Weg von New York nach Israel auf sich genommen hat, um sich eine ganze Woche lang tätowieren zu lassen. Wir haben über fünf Tage hinweg – Tag für Tag – all ihre Narben abgedeckt (einschließlich einer weiteren Narbe an ihrem Bein). Ich konnte dabei zusehen, wie sie sich vor meinen Augen verwandelte – wie sie die Last der Vergangenheit ablegte und sich sowohl innerlich als auch äußerlich veränderte.

​Als sie in den Spiegel blickte und mich fragte, wo die Narbe geblieben sei – jene Narbe, auf die sie ihr ganzes Leben lang stundenlang gestarrt hatte –, fingen wir beide an zu weinen.

​Ich freue mich so sehr für sie, dass sie diese mutige Entscheidung getroffen hat: Alleine in ein fremdes Land zu reisen, jemandem zu vertrauen, den sie noch nie zuvor getroffen hatte, und sich voll und ganz auf diesen Prozess einzulassen.

Healing Help (Artist Gave Me No Advice)
I got this tattoo Tuesday (4.27.26) and it's now Saturday night (4.30.26). My artist gave me ZERO advice on healing/aftercare or what to expect (I'm not going to be returning to that artist for several reasons, including this) but I've been doing what subreddits and people with far more tattoo experience have recommended (avoided showers for the first 48 hours, don't let shampoo/body wash/conditioner runoff hit it, pat dry w paper towel not shower towel, thin layer of unscented lotion for moisture, etc)
So far really, the leg is the only thing making me worried, my best guess is that since it's on the inside of my upper left arm that repeated movement + location is making the leg specifically angry (I drive, so things like twisting the steering wheel or holding my backpack), and am mostly certain that the buildup behind it is plasma + lymph fluid bc of the brown/amber dried appearance but when do I actually be worried about it? It hasn't done any of the signs that are universally worrying (weird smells, red streaks going outward, leaking pus, bleeding beyond the first night, releasing ink past the first ~48 hours, etc)
I'm SUPER new into the tattoo scene, this is my first tattoo that wasn't a flash, and my first tattoo with any amount of shading/fill in (my other tattoo is a little linework star on the elbow ditch that A) I didn't feel, and B) healed BEAUTIFULLY)

Hab mir das Tattoo vor gerade mal 2 Stunden stechen lassen und war eigentlich richtig zufrieden… bis ich’s in einer FB Gruppe für diese Figur gepostet hab und die Leute direkt angefangen haben, es komplett auseinanderzunehmen 😭

Die meinen jetzt, die Linien wären unsauber, zittrig und da wären schon Blowouts drin. Jetzt bin ich komplett verunsichert und weiß nicht, ob ich einfach nur am Durchdrehen bin, weil das Tattoo frisch, geschwollen und gereizt ist… oder ob da wirklich was dran ist.

Ich weiß ja, dass Tattoos direkt nach dem Stechen oft noch nicht perfekt aussehen und sich erst beim Abheilen setzen. Aber jetzt häng ich hier und check jede Linie tausendmal und denk mir nur noch: „Alter… ist das normal oder hab ich mir gerade Mist stechen lassen?“ 😅

Is the hand a good area for first tattoo?
Hi GGT, I’ve been considering on what I want to do for my first tattoo and where I want to put it. I’ve had an idea for a womb/stomach tattoo, an upper arm and a hand tattoo.
Specifically the hand tattoo due to it being small and easier(?), and on the area of the plane between the thumb and pointer finger. I’ve heard it hurts and that hand tattoos aren’t a good idea, and honestly I just wanna know if I should go for it.
I’m thinking a ravens/crow skull instead in place of the animal one, because I have a tendency to talk with my hands and mimic things—and I think a tattoo of one of my favourite bird’s skulls would be sick/a little amusing to parrot.
