❤ MSUMARI‘S BASENJIS & FRIENDS MEETING 2026 ❤
Another fantastic Msumari’s Basenjis & Friends Meeting on 25.07.2026 – another wonderful day to remember!
As the weather forecast predicted temperatures above 30°C, we decided to start earlier than usual at 11:00 am, so we could hold our fun race before the heat became too intense.
A total of 24 Basenjis and 2 guest dogs, together with their owners - 35 humans - joined us this year.
Our Basenjis competed in six different categories during the fun race and the winners got trophies, while every participant was awarded a certificate and a small gift as a thank-you for taking part.
This year’s fun competition combined a small agility course with the challenge of eating a sausage as quickly as possible.
It was hilarious to watch, and everyone had an amazing time—as the photos clearly show!
Our „Guess How Many Kibbles Are in the Jar“ game was another great success, with almost everyone joining in and eagerly trying their luck.
Most Bs took the chance for an off leash run at the field inside the track and specially the youngsters had a blast, running free!
As always, the barbecue was absolutely delicious.
Big thanks thank you to everyone who joined us, brought delicious salads and cakes, and helped with setting up and taking down the tents and equipment.
Your support made the day run so smoothly.
Three caravans stayed overnight at the racetrack, and we spent the afternoon/evening chatting, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company until well past midnight.
We finally went to bed at 3:00 am, proof of what a wonderful time we had together!
