Healing winter escape to Puerto Rico ☀️🧡 Surfing every morning, connecting with nature, making friends with kind, thoughtful strangers. A nice reminder that the world isn’t such an awful place all the time. We can do so much better. The only thing more powerful than hate is love. ICE OUT ✌🏼

Work I made for Divinations, an exhibition at in conjunction with ✨ 🌙

Whether based on traditions old or new, the works in Divinations illuminate our connections to the realm and beyond.

The two pieces I created for the exhibit, titled The Watchers and The Guardian, contemplate duality and explore sight and guardianship as intertwined forms of spirituality and connection. The Watchers invokes the celestial, both light and shadow, as a host of seraphic faces that observe and protect from above, while The Guardian brings that vigilance down to earth. Inspired by historic Jewish marital house rings once shared among communities, the piece becomes an earthly amulet of protection and fortune, echoing the watchful presence of its counterpart. Together, the two works consider divination as a dialogue between the divine and the domestic, between what looks down from the heavens and what safeguards the home.
