🎨 Step-by-Step Crafting Process1. Preparation & SafetySet up a clean workspace in a well-ventilated room.Cover your work surface with a silicone mat or wax paper to catch accidental drips.Put on your safety gear (gloves and mask) before opening the resin bottles.Ensure molds are clean and dry, as dust or moisture will ruin the final finish.2. Measuring & MixingCheck the specific mixing ratio of your resin brand (by volume or by weight).Pour precise amounts of Resin (Part A) and Hardener (Part B) into a clean mixing cup.Stir slowly and thoroughly for 3 to 5 minutes. Scrape the sides and the bottom of the cup frequently to ensure a complete mix. Stirring too fast will introduce excess air bubbles.Let the mixture sit for 1 to 2 minutes to allow large bubbles to rise to the surface and pop naturally.3. Coloring & Adding EffectsDivide the resin into smaller cups if you plan to use multiple colors.Add your choice of pigments (mica powder for a metallic look, or alcohol ink for a translucent effect). Always add colorants sparingly; adding too much can affect the curing process.Gently fold in glitter or other small decorative items.4. Pouring into the MoldPour the resin slowly into the lowest point of your silicone mold. This allows the resin to self-level and displaces air, minimizing bubbles.Arrange embedded objects (like dried flowers or photos) using tweezers after pouring a base layer of resin, then pour a top layer to seal them.Pass a heat gun or butane torch quickly 2–3 inches above the resin surface to burst any remaining micro-bubbles. Do not hold the heat in one spot for too long, or you may burn the resin or damage the silicone mold.5. Curing & DemoldingCover the mold with a cardboard box or plastic dome to shield it from airborne dust particles.Allow the craft to cure undisturbed for 24 to 48 hours (depending on the brand and ambient room temperature). The ideal curing room temperature is around 75°F–80°F (24°C–27°C).Gently peel back the silicone mold once the resin is completely hard and no longer sticky.
