The V-shaped band is designed to nest seamlessly with the client’s existing engagement ring, creating a harmonious and intentional stack. His band features a discreet diamond set inside the ring, an intimate echo of her design and a shared symbol between the two.

This project unfolded over months of thoughtful dialogue and meticulous design refinement, until every detail felt just right and the final design truly resonated. A process guided by patience, trust, and the pursuit of a piece that feels unmistakably theirs. ✨

AWÜ Bespoke | White gold jade & diamond wedding bands: a story of Time, Place, and Love. 💚

This project was an extraordinary journey, both creative and emotional. The couple, two international school’s educators whose paths intertwined in China, chose green jade as the heart of their wedding bands, a gemstone that carries deep symbolism in Chinese culture: harmony, balance, and lasting devotion. For them, it represents their shared time in China.

Designing their rings was an experience filled with challenge and joy. From the earliest concept sketches to the painstaking search for the perfect shade of green jade, every step demanded precision and patience. The gemstones were custom-cut to fit a bespoke white-gold setting, designed to hold the jade securely yet gracefully — allowing the stone’s natural depth and character to shine.

Her ring, with its sculptural curves and continuous jade band, required exceptional craftsmanship to achieve both strength and elegance. Every contour, every millimeter of the cut, had to align in precision to achieve perfect setting.

The project took three months from our first consultation to final completion. Three months of exploration, design, and artistry. The result is a pair of one-of-a-kind wedding bands that embody not only the couple’s story, but also the essence of balance between meaning, design, and masterful craftsmanship.

Seeing their happiness at the final reveal was the most rewarding moment of all, a reminder of why I create jewelry: to tell human stories through art and material.

AWÜ Bespoke | Emerald Pink & White Diamond ring. The project was a redesign from an existing classic emerald ring that the client finds boring in style and approached me for a remake.

Together we discussed all the criteria for the new design and explored her preferences in style in order to create a stunning ring she would love and feel great wearing.

The stunning super high quality emerald from her original ring is the center piece of the project. Her desire is to celebrate it with complementing color diamonds and an elegant ring style that features distinct design elements transitioning smoothly from one to another through her dream ring.

There are usually 3 main sections on a statememt ring: the center gem, the side gem and the band. The design choices we made for each of these 3 sections play an important role in the creation of a ring that has an integrated personality, a soul.

It’s through this careful design exploration and decision making, combined with superlative craftsmanship, we could achieve the ultimate jewel the client would feel proud to wear. It should serve as an extension of the client’s identity and self expression.

The ring was super challenging to design and to create, but it was so worth it when the job was successfully done and being so appreciated by the client 🤗.
