Kuyen est un atelier de création nomade qui, contrairement à un atelier statique traditionnel, voyage à travers le monde dans une petite boîte en métal, transformant n'importe quelle table en un espace de travail complet.
Bien qu'originaire du sud du Chili et donc fils métis de l'orfèvrerie Mapuche, ses traversées de l'Amérique Latine l'ont fortement influencé. Enrichissant ses techniques, amplifiant sa gamme de matériaux, perfectionnant sa base autodidate grâce à l'enseignement de véritables "Rëtrafes", maîtres du métal
Kuyen es un Taller de creación nómade que, a diferencia de un taller estático tradicional, viaja a través del mundo en una pequeña caja de metal, transformando una mesa cualquiera en un espacio de trabajo completo.
Si bien es originario del sur de Chile y por lo tanto hijo mestizo de la platería Mapuche, sus travesías por América Latina, le han influenciado notablemente, enriqueciendo sus técnicas, ampliando su gama de materiales y sobre todo perfeccionando su base autodidacta, gracias al conocimiento de verdaderos "Rëtrafes", maestros del metal.
Kuyen is a workshop of nomadic creation, which compared to a more traditional static workshop, travels around the world in a small metal box, transforming any ordinary table in a full working space.
Although it is native from the south of Chile, and therefore son of the Mapuche silver jewelry, its journeys through Latin America have had a remarkable influence, enriching its technics, widening its use of materials and more than anything, improving its self-taught ground, thanks to the knowledge from true "Rëtrafes", masters of metal handycraft.
