Got mine today, at the Zürich airport. It’s better than expected. Very well made, it just feels too light and plastic overall. As a pocket watch collector this is a fun addition to the collection and if someone does make a strap, I would definitely wear it. Just for fun. Audemars PiguetSwatch

This rare 5:1 scale demonstration model showcases the inner workings of IWC’s famous Pellaton automatic winding system, which was originally patented in 1950. Utilizing a clear plastic rotor, a unique cam plate, and a pair of dual-acting pawls, the model perfectly illustrates how bidirectional rotation is converted into a single direction to wind the mainspring. Today, this ingenious mechanism remains a signature hallmark of IWC's modern in-house movements, often featuring high-tech ceramic components to prevent wear.

Had the pleasure to photograph this rare beauty, a museum piece, but for some of you a personal collection watch.The spectacular George Daniels Millennium. Created in 1999 to celebrate Omega finally adopting Daniels’ revolutionary Co-Axial escapement, this watch was the ultimate victory lap for British watchmaking.The story here is incredible. This was Daniels’ first-ever "series" production, and it completely launched the career of his brilliant apprentice, Roger W. Smith. Originally meant to be just 12 pieces for close friends, demand exploded and they hand-crafted a total of 48 pieces. And only 7 ever made in white gold.

While the core movement came from Omega, the ex*****on is pure hand-craftsmanship. Every single textured silver guilloché dial and gold component was meticulously finished right inside Daniels' Isle of Man workshop. Special thanks to the magnificent Beyer Museum Zürich. Whenever you can, go and visit it, you won’t be dissapointed!
