The Cornavin P810 Diver is a historic watch. Why? It was the first watch with a decompression dial. The entire dial surface is a decompression dial that measures up to 40 meters. These decompression stages are used by divers to correctly time out the intervals at which they have to remain at a certain depth in order to re-surface safely. These intervals are marked at 12-3-6-9.
The thick minute and seconds hand are placed in the center. The hour indication however, is placed on a date-like wheel, rotating underneath the dial.
