Acquiring the BOVET manufacture in 2006, owner Pascal Raffy realized his dream of bringing almost every process in the making of a BOVET timepiece in-house. Fiercely independent, BOVET produces more than 95% of everything that goes into its timepieces, including the spirals and regulating organs, the beating heart of a mechanical timepiece.

Mastery.

Inside its facility in Tramelan, BOVET has mastered the key processes of movement and case manufacture. From profile turning and CNC milling to electro-erosion and spiral production, every critical process is accomplished in-house.
Each component is then finished and engraved entirely by hand.
No assembly lines—only artisans.
The Tramelan manufacture shows how BOVET has been able to combine high-tech, verticalized production with traditional handcraftmanship.

20th Anniversary of the BOVET Manufacture. When Pascal Raffy took over the House of BOVET in 2001, his vision was clear: to achieve full independence by creating a vertically-integrated manufacture.

That vision became reality in 2006 with the acquisition of the Tramelan manufacture.

Today, BOVET produces more than 95% of every component in its timepieces in-house—including the hairspring and regulating organ, a rarity in watchmaking. For a House crafting fewer than 1,000 timepieces per year, this level of integration is exceptional.
