We are a Swiss watchmaking company located in Geneva, we propose post modern luxury. We create singular watches in the respect of its DNA as Ikepod was launched 25 years ago by a star designer. We bought the brand in 2017 and relaunched it in 2018 on Kickstarter. We divided the original prices by 10 and are proud to keep the brand alive. Same quality, same design, new prices

Our polaroid Minipod campaign has been nominated in the .awards.
We are so proud to be in the middle of giants, when you see all the agencies there and the budgets spent to make fantastic campaigns, it's just a gift for our French agency Izar Design who did this beautiful story on IG and in the professional press

The idea was to pay a tribute to the master Guy Bourdin who did great campaigns for Charles Jourdan in the 70ies and was the godfather of p***o chic that we saw everywhere in the 2000s.

Seems that all our fans began by the dessert. Calusa is sold out for a while now.
As you may noticed it all Minipod limited editions have a different logo than normal editions. This is a small detail that 99.8% of people will not notice. This is Ikepod.

Watchmaking is still repeating the past or is blocked into old designs. With Minipod, Ikepod explore a unfinished idea and express all its design language. Soft curves and elegant details that make of this 38.3 mm something very Ikepod.

IKEPOD : Le rond du pas carré…
On attend généralement les montres Ikepod du côté des boîtiers ovoïdes au design audacieux, façon soucoupes volantes, mais c’est oublier que la marque avait déjà exploré, il y a vingt-cinq ans, une forme assez disruptive, pas rectangulaire mais presque, pas trop tonneau mais quand même [la Manatee a par la suite été déclinée dans différents matériaux tout aussi rupturistes]. La maison Ikepod revenant petit à petit sur le devant de la scène, chez les collectionneurs comme au poignet de nouvelles générations, trop heureuses d’échapper enfin à la dictature mécanique des boîtiers néo-conformistes « à la Genta ». Voici donc la Minipod, lointaine cousine de la Manatee, menue comme il se doit pour une montre vraiment contemporaine version 2026 (38,3 mm x 33,3 mm pour le boîtier compact en acier à bracelet caoutchouc intégré), mouvement électronique Miyota parce que ça marche très bien, précisément, sans qu’on se prenne la tête, et prix ultra-câlin (un peu moins de 700 euros) avec un grand choix de couleurs (huit options plus ou moins sages). La grammaire graphique reste la même, avec un design fondé sur l’usage original de la couleur pour exprimer des formes [le rond classique des Ikepod historiques n’est pas trahi : il est ici magnifié par sa stylisation]. C’est beaucoup mieux qu’une montre qui donne l’heure : c’est un symbole qui donne à réfléchir – un signe extérieur de richesse esthétique qui casse les codes avec un sourire tout en rondeurs dans un espace plus très carré. Ikepod est en train de s’imposer comme la nouvelle Swatch, en plus subtilement disruptif que dans les années 1980...
