The story of the Artigiano “Stratosferico” Piece Unique goes beyond the creation of a timepiece.
It is the story of a material that spent years as part of an automotive legend and the idea that, through craftsmanship, its history did not have to end there.

By taking the original Alcantara from this Lancia Stratos and transforming it through independent Swiss watchmaking, a part of the car’s past is allowed to continue in another mechanical form. The material remains connected to the journeys, atmosphere and emotions it once experienced, while beginning an entirely new chapter on the wrist.

This is the philosophy behind Artigiano: to look beyond traditional watchmaking materials and explore how objects with character, history and personal meaning can be given a new purpose. “Stratosferico” is one expression of that vision, bringing the worlds of automotive heritage and independent Swiss watchmaking together through a material that belongs now to both.

Some objects become part of who we are. Their stories deserve to continue, crafted from the desire of a member of the Chalet, our dedicated space for the Arsène Lippens community.

Introducing the Artigiano “Stratosferico” Piece Unique, crafted from the desire of a member of the Chalet, our dedicated space for the Arsène Lippens community.

At the heart of this timepiece lies a material that once belonged to a Lancia Stratos, an automotive legend. Shaped by years of movement, atmosphere and emotion, it has now been transformed through independent Swiss watchmaking into a mechanical object that allows its story to continue.

The “Stratosferico” Piece Unique is an expression of preservation through transformation. Its dial is crafted from Alcantara taken directly from the original seats of this Lancia Stratos, number 41 of only 492 produced worldwide. Rather than leaving this material and its history in the past, a new mechanical form has been given, creating a tangible connection between the life it once lived and the one it begins today.

The Artigiano collection was born from the freedom to work with different, uncommon materials, each carrying its own character and story, and to give them a new life through independent Swiss watchmaking.

We are proud to unveil the first chapter of Threads of Time, created together with Tokei Ronin: the Artigiano REF. 0599-TR, produced in 25 individually numbered pieces.

At the heart of this edition is a dial unlike any have created before. Crafted from linen, it reinterprets the iconic “Shmagh”, the traditional patterned headscarf of the Arabian Peninsula, bringing together Arabian culture and independent Swiss watchmaking.

The caseback features a hand-drawn illustration by Tokei Ronin himself, showcasing a “Shmagh”, wearer in the wild and bringing his distinctive artistic language to the timepiece.
The floating logo and the crown reinterpret Arsène Lippens in Arabic, while the signature 37.5 mm case, measuring 9.9 mm in thickness, remains unchanged.

Limited to 25 individually numbered pieces, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deliveries will begin by October 2026.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to a charity close to Tokei Ronin as all his editions.

This new Scheletrato “Opaco” line takes its name from the type of dial used for the first and only drop of 2026. Thanks to the matte finish, “Opaco” in Italian, the iconic Valjoux 7750, with its sandblasted and micro-blasted finishes, stands out fresher and lighter, than the previous edition in 2024. Complemented by the new sailcloth strap.

Both sailcloth straps are interchangeable with our “Beads of Rice” metal bracelet.

Introducing the new Scheletrato “Opaco” line, our 2026 one-week-only drop, available until March 2nd. This edition is presented in two versions: a navy blue dial (REF. 0764-BO) paired with a navy blue sailcloth strap, and a grey dial (REF. 0764-GO) with a grey sailcloth strap.

With a 39.5mm case diameter, the Scheletrato is a Swiss-made automatic chronograph offering a 48-hour power reserve, moved by the iconic fully skeletonized Valjoux 7750, featuring a custom, hand-finished rotor. Sandblasted bridges and rhodium micro-blasted finishes create a deep, complex layering of levels and depth.

Both sailcloth straps are interchangeable with our “Beads of Rice” metal bracelet.
