the latest release from Greubel Forsey: the GMT Balancier Convexe, presented in a 42.9 mm curved titanium case. Inside is a re-engineered calibre, now composed of 496 components. On the back, a sapphire disc engraved with 24 reference cities allows universal time to be read across every time zone, with a second scale indicating summer and winter time. Limited to 22 timepieces.

the new Chronomaster Solo Sport - the El Primero movement in a three-hand, non-chronograph model.

The watch comes in a 40 mm stainless steel case and is available in three versions, with ceramic dials and bezels in black, white, and brown, featuring hours, minutes, seconds, and date indication. The black version is also offered in a no-date variant. Inside is the high-frequency automatic manufacture calibre El Primero 3620.
Retail price is €10,500 with the date, or €9,500 for the no-date version.

During my recent visit to the Hublot manufacture, we saw, of course, plenty of modern watches from the brand. But one watch that really stood out to me was this original Classic MDM — the watch that started it all for Hublot.

It was a bold move back in the 1980s to pair a gold case with a rubber strap, but it still works today.

the Roger Dubuis Hommage La Placide, introduced in 2025 to celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary.
Everything about this watch goes back to the brand’s origins. A classical 38 mm pink gold case. A perpetual calendar with a bi-retrograde display—a signature complication of Mr. Roger Dubuis. Limited edition of just 28 pieces.
I think many would agree that we’d love to see more watches like this from the brand.

Already for the fifth year, Longines returns to Sylt with its seasonal pop-up store, once again unveiling a special Sylt Edition. This year, it’s the HydroConquest Sylt Edition, available in 39 mm and 42 mm. A limited edition of 300 pieces. The 39 mm version wears especially well on the wrist.

On this occasion, we joined Longines to celebrate summer in true northern style, surrounded by beautiful watches and great company. Here are a few pictures from the event.

Summer lunch in the company of Jaeger-LeCoultre earlier this week. Great food from Azuki restaurant in a beautiful location, and some stunning latest releases from the brand, which we had the chance to try. The Reversos with complications are on fire, the simpler Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds with a white dial is a real beauty. The new Polaris Date with its reduced dimensions—40 mm in diameter and 12.9 mm thick—feels spot on.

A rather unusual Audemars Piguet watch: the Neo Frame Jumping Hour. Inspired by the Jumping Hour watches AP made in the 1920s, it is housed in a pink gold and sapphire case adorned with gadroons and aerodynamic lugs. A fantastic feel on the wrist.
