Unveiling Val Viola, Mr. A.N.I’s timepiece personalization.
Inspired by the violet lakes of the Alps, this bespoke personalization captures the ever-changing interplay of light and colour throughout the day. Mr. A.N.I. wished to recreate this sense of movement through the guilloché. The dial was entirely hand-guilloché with an exceptionally precise motif, creating reliefs that catch the light and change appearance depending on the viewing angle.
To meet our client’s vision, Artisans de Genève applied a MorphoColor®️ treatment. Its principle is comparable to the multilayer technologies used in high-end automotive paints, where successive layers create colours that shift depending on the angle of observation.
To add the desired poetic touch, Artisans de Genève enhanced the movement with a moonphase complication crafted in blue aventurine and complemented by a mother-of-pearl insert, faithfully reproducing the lunar cycle.
