Many of you already know I have a thing for the H08. A beautifully designed watch from the esteemed Maison, brought to life with the watch-, dial, and case-making expertise of Vaucher Manufacture in Fleurier, Ateliers d’Hermès Horloger in Le Noirmont and La Montre Hermès in Brügg.
The latest addition to the collection is a naked one. Well, skeletonized rather.
And truth be told, the H08 wears its bones exceptionally well. Don’t you think?

People often talk about watches as objects. But great watches are really about the people behind them.

I tried on the steel version of the spectacular Time Jumper at Dubai Watch Week last year. And trying the yellow gold version on the wrist at Watches & Wonders this year was a welcome reunion. Watch is designed by fellow Dane - a man of obvious talent👍👌

So anyway, I flew to Oslo to experience the watch made for Why? Because Norway is Tesla’s strongest market. Hence the “Battleground” name on the dial. And according to Norwegian newspapers, Mr Musk himself proudly wears this cool critter.
