In 2021, DGT-001 Échos des Lagons became the very first Deguiret timepiece to find its collector

Its Grand Feu cloisonné enamel dial, made by Nikoloz Panchulidze, quickly became one of the early icons of the brand, alongside DGT-002 Navigation aux Étoiles by Lia Meskhi.

That first piece also marked the beginning of a long and meaningful connection with Bob, known as Watch Ape, who has supported Deguiret from the very beginning.

Over the years, we stayed in touch, shared our passion for independent watchmaking, and recently met again in Geneva during Geneva Watch Week 2026.

On that occasion, Bob captured our new 37mm manual timepiece, featuring a inspired Échos des Lagons Grand Feu cloisonné enamel dial created especially for a YPO collaboration.

For us, this image carries something very special: a bridge between the first chapter of Deguiret and what the brand is becoming today.

Thank you Bob for your trust, your eye, and your continued support over all these years.

Having collectors who not only wear our watches, but also share them through their own sensitivity and photographic talent, means a great deal to us.

With gratitude
Lucas

A new chapter for Deguiret.

Last year, we received a very special commission from YPO. The idea was to reinterpret one of our very first creation, DGT 001 “Échos des Lagons”, and adapt it into a dedicated 37mm & 40mm cloisonné enamel piece for this collaboration.

The composition has been subtly reworked, the colours refined, and the balance adjusted to give this piece its own identity while keeping a direct link with the original watch that marked the beginning of our journey.

Here you can see the dial receiving its final layer of enamel before the last firing.
At this stage, everything is still fragile. The colours are not yet fully revealed. The surface is still unfinished. But the essence of the piece is already there.

This project represents an important milestone for us and we are proud to soon share more about this collaboration with YPO, through reels, images, and a closer look at the making of this unique series.

More soon.

A new custom piece is taking shape 🎨

This project began with a collector's personal vision: his love for the jungle paintings of Henri Rousseau, especially The Dream, and his own memories of safaris across Africa.

In Rousseau's painting, the jungle reveals a lion and a lioness hidden among dense vegetation. For this custom dial, the idea was not to reproduce the artwork literally, but to reinterpret its atmosphere at the scale of a watch dial.

A quiet jungle.
A hidden feline presence.
Flowers, leaves, depth, color, and a sense of mystery.

These first studies show the beginning of the creative process: from references and color research to hand-drawn compositions, before the final design is translated into Cloisonné grand feu enamel.

Thank you for this first collaboration 🙏

DGT-054 (Unique Piece, Commissioned)

A custom timepiece commissioned by a Taiwanese collector, inspired by our early Dahlia creation (DGT-008).

The cloisonné enamel dial pays tribute to Georgian ornamental traditions through a calm, architectural composition. Pure gold wires define each contour with precision, while the grand feu enamel brings depth, texture, and quiet intensity to the piece.

Housed in our new 37 mm Swiss-made architecture, it combines a slim profile, refined proportions, and a Swiss manual movement by La Joux-Perret.

37 mm case
316L stainless steel
18k gold ring beneath the bezel
8.6 mm slim profile
41.42 mm lug to lug
90 hour power reserve
Double barrel architecture
Côtes de Genève finishing
Flamed blue screws

All watch components are designed and made in Switzerland.

Coiffe à l’Oiseau
DGT-045
Unique piece

A painting translated into time.

Coiffe à l’Oiseau is an art adaptation of Adélaïde Laurent-Bellue’s work, reimagined through the craft of cloisonné enamel. Dreamlike forms unfold across the dial, moving through deep green, warm yellow, soft ivory, and rich red tones. Each curve is shaped by hand using 24k gold wires, then filled, fired, and revealed through successive kiln firings.

The intention is clear but demanding. Stay faithful to the original composition, its curved silhouettes, its quiet poetry, while allowing enamel and light to give it a new presence on the wrist.

The watch is powered by a Swiss Peseux 7001 manual movement, offering 42 hours of power reserve. A slim, discreet calibre chosen for its elegance and coherence with the dial.

The back of a watch says a lot about the quality of its architecture.

For our 37mm manual timepiece, we worked around a 30mm La Joux-Perret manufacture movement. This diameter matters. Inside a 37 mm case, it creates a naturally full and balanced caseback view, with no oversized spacer effect and no visual emptiness around the movement.

The proportions were considered as a complete system: 37 mm diameter, 8.6 mm total thickness, 41.42 mm lug-to-lug, 20 mm lug width, and a sapphire caseback opening designed to frame the movement properly.

Inside: manual winding, double barrel, 90-hour power reserve, 21 jewels, 21,600 A/h, Côtes de Genève finishing and flamed blue screws.

A compact architecture, built with mechanical coherence.

The colours begin to appear ✨

After the drawing and the shaping of the gold cloisons shown in our previous posts, we are now starting the first layers of Grand Feu enamel application.

Each shade is carefully placed by hand with a fine brush, inside the tiny gold compartments of the dial. What was once only structure now begins to come alive.

The complete dial will be revealed very soon, hopefully within the next week.

Step by step, the story of this unique piece comes alive.
