NEW RELEASE: The ‘Tribute 1 Sandstein’.
Mastery of refined minimalism is the mission of our new Tribute 1 Sandstein: a 38mm reinvention of the classic dress watch in a casual aesthetic context. It was inspired by the sandy color palette of “Burgdorf Sandstein” (“sandstone” in English); famously originating from Armin Strom’s home town of Burgdorf in the canton of Bern, Switzerland and used for centuries in its historic buildings and monuments.
In an aesthetic departure from past iterations, this timepiece embraces the formality of Roman numerals in a decidedly casual colour palette; with a guilloché dial executed in a ‘grain d’orge’ barleycorn pattern in deep beige with warm brown undertones.
The Tribute 1 Sandstein is equipped with our Manufacture Caliber AMW21: a hand-finished, manually-wound, haute-horology movement with a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour. It provides a power reserve of 100 hours. Like every timepiece in our collection, this Caliber was designed, fabricated, hand-finished and assembled in-house, with 97% of components produced at our Manufacture.
