***From the Statutes***
The Association takes the name of European Minigolfsport Federation (EMF), is the umbrella organisation of all male and female minigolf players, and is established for an unlimited time
Members of the EMF are national minigolf federations or also associations if no national federation exists. In individual cases sport organisations may also be accepted following a prior ins

pection. Legal seat of the EMF is in Basel, Switzerland. The EMF acknowledges the statutes and the terms of the World Minigolf- sport Federation (WMF). All wordings in these statutes refer to persons of either sex. In the following no distinction is made between the sexes for the exclusive purpose of better legibility. The EMF advocates the principle of the free and voluntary practice and community of the sport. The EMF is completely neutral with regards to politics, race, and religious faith. The EMF acts directly and exclusively for charitable purposes.

Also this year the European Championships are gone! We had the opportunity to play in a great place like the Zaton Holiday Resort in Croatia, a superb place to host such high level competition. This is the first time we tried to do a fully independent organisation of the tournament and I can easily say that it went very well! I want to thank the owners of the Resort, the Referees and Jury but my best congratulations goes to the Team of the Austrian Federation who took the lead for the “on field” organisation: great job done!!! For sure a bold experience we need to do again!
Yesterday we had the opportunity to appoint the new Matchplay European Champions during very tight but fair competitions!
Here the matchplay medals:
Men:
- gold medal and European Matchplay Champion: Marek Smejkal (CZ)
- silver medal: Yannick Müller (D)
- Bronze medal: Daniel Moser (CH)
Women:
- gold medal and European Matchplay Champion: Sarah Schumacher (D)
- silver medal: Julia Sjöberg (S)
- bronze medal: Stefanie Blendermann (D)

Safe trip back home to everybody and see you in Landskrona (S) for the Minigolf Champions League Final 21/23.11.

The fourth and last day of the European Championships 2024 in Zaton Holiday Resport in Croatia is affected by an heavy rain started (as forecasted) this morning around 5 am. Actually the competition start has been moved to 9 and then to 10… fingers crossed!
Meanwhile let us congratulate with the amazing performance done by the Strokeplay medallists yesterday:
Women category:
- gold and new European strokeplay champion: Sarah Schumacher (D)
- silver medal: Vanessa Peuker (D)
- bronze medal: Stefanie Blendermann (D)
Men category:
- gold and new European strokeplay champion: Yannick Müller (D)
