THE PRISONER
The last 72 hours has been life changing for me. After all, this is the biggest reward of being involved in Direct Sales. Indeed, much more than the financial gain and accolades, it is the relationships that we establish and build that matter most. I was privileged to speak to more than 500 people in Warri over the last weekend. I got the opportunity to meet many success partners that we had been communicating via Social Media in person. Once again, I was blessed to share a message of hope for a better lifestyle with a multitude of people.
Out of hundreds of new connections, 2 individuals stand out. These 2 special people once again proved to me, once again the power of self BELIEF and WILL.
I was introduced to Funmilayo, a young daring lady. Yes, DARING! Because at an age when her contemporaries are sagging their pants, taking, posting selfies and worrying about the next track to listen to on their mobile devices, Funmilayo is fucused on CREATING a meaningful future for herself. Already an entrepreneur at heart, I was told that Funmilayo manufactures soap that she sells. She was introduced to GWT about 2 weeks ago and without thinking twice, she launched a Silver VDM. She made a commitment to learn and do what it requires to achieve Global Ambassador. After speaking with her, I have no doubt that she will DO IT! Funmilayo is only 17 years old.
The power of Social Media is undeniable. Ambassador Benedicta(took out surname) while prospecting received a wild response from John Doe (not his real name. However he is flesh & blood). John contacted her via Facebook one night at about 10.00 PM. He told her that she does not know him. However, he saw her post about GWT and he was interested. He wanted more information. She proceeded to EDUCATE him about GWT to the point where he UNDERSTOOD how GWT could benefit him. John said, "I can DO IT. I'm ready to DO IT". However, I need your assistance in every sense of the word. Benedicta asked him what he meant. Wait for this: John said, "I'm a prisoner. I am in prison and I've been incaserated for the past 8 years. However, I am hopeful that I will be released. My only fear is that all my mates are leaving me behind in terms of advancement in well being. What will be my financial situation when I get out? But I am now hopeful. GWT is my hope. I believe that I can work this business from prison with your assistance. I have some money saved up that I can use to launch a VDM. The assistance I need from you is to follow up on my prospects on the outside. I will connect with them via Social Media. I only need you to support me by closing them."
Benedicta said she was dumfounded and quickly called her husband to wade into the matter. After further conversation via chat, she and her husband were convinced that he was indeed in prison but more so, he was ready to launch his VDM. Benedicta told John what is required and sent her VDM address to him.
A few days later, John contacted her through FB again and told her that he was ready to launch his VDM. He wanted her to be on standby while he goes through the sign up process. Benedicta advised him to launch a Silver VDM. John said no, he had studied the compensation plan and will go BIG! Nothing but the Diamond VDM will do. John subsequently launched a Diamond VDM. Immediately afterwards, he sent Benedicta names and contact details of a few of his prospects. Within a few days, John signed up 2 people that launched Diamond VDMs.
This encounter left me speechless. John has displayed the power of the human spirit that says: when there is life, there is hope. And when the going gets tough, the tough get going. And finally, you will win if you don't quit.
John is in prison, however he sees FREEDOM that GWT can provide. Sadly majority that are free (not in prison) build virtual bars (EXCUSES) around themselves which perpetually imprison them and prevents them from attaining financial and time freedom.
I will personally reach out and assist John Doe to build his business because he deserves our support. And I cannot wait to meet
