More tips to avoid if you don’t actually want to lose your stone or your ring:
Never check your prongs — especially after hitting your ring on something.
Never take it off — at the gym, in the shower, while cleaning, gardening, etc.!
Skip your regular inspections — out of sight, out of mind!
Ignore a loose-feeling stone — if it moves or rattles, just keep wearing it.
Leave it wrapped in a paper towel after washing it — and throw it away with the paper towel.
