NOTICE: Construction has commenced and is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
Work will include:
Full depth resurfacing
Pedestrian crossover installation
Sanitary lateral work
Curb and sidewalk spot repairs
Street lighting installation/replacement
During construction, Peel Street will be closed to through traffic. Reeve Street, from Peel Street to McQueen Street, will temporarily become two-way traffic, with no parking permitted on either side of the street.
Residents and visitors should expect some dust, noise, vibration, and traffic impacts during the project.
Please also note:
Garbage and recycling should still be placed out on regular collection days before 7:00 a.m.
Containers should be clearly marked with your address
The contractor will move containers to an accessible location and return them after pickup
Please do not remove survey stakes
Keep children away from active construction areas and parked equipment
