Here’s the truth: this week hasn’t gone the way I hoped.
I’m learning reticulation - a technique where heating silver creates that cratered, textured surface - and while I understand the principles, sometimes it just doesn’t work the way I want it to.
I thought I’d be posting a beautiful finished project today, but instead it’s been nothing but trial, error, and stumbling blocks.
And honestly? That’s part of learning. Not every week is about polished results - sometimes it’s about showing up, trying again, and accepting that progress can be messy.
Maybe the life lesson is this: growth doesn’t always look pretty, but every misstep is still a step forward.
