A bracelet made by crocheting seed beads onto beading cord. It has some stretch to it, and the number of wraps is determined by the wrist size. You can also wear it as a necklace.

These are created by putting heat (a torch) to copper, to bring out the various colors, then sealed to stop the oxidation. I am new to this technique and have so much admiration for the masters of this craft! I do this outdoors in the summer, so should have new pieces this fall.

Working on some items for Saturday's Hope for Hounds Spring Market at Four Points by Sheraton, 2935 Pembina Highway.

Q: How did you make these?
A: Cut rectangles out of a sheet of copper metal, then file the edges. Emboss the copper to give it the pattern, then fold and punch a hole through the top of both sides. Next, make the jump rings and earwires, then attach. Polish and buff, add a patina, then apply a protective wax. Voila, all done!
