To celebrate the Cincinnati Zoo's 100th Red Panda birth, Cincinnati Watch Company watchmaker and artist Jordan Ficklin, CW21 created an original handmade Cloisonné and Grand Feu enamel dial depicting a young Red Panda on a nearly pure silver dial. Every silver wire is bent by hand before layers of enamel are applied and kiln fired repeatedly until the image comes to life.

The dial of this watch features a Red Panda and tiny butterfly The dial is handcrafted with .999 Find Silver using traditional cloisonné techniques. Have you seen the Winold Reiss Mosaics that once lined The Concourse at Union Terminal Cincinnati Museum Center? Saved in 1972 when the Union Terminal Concourse was demolished, they're now on display on the back, Western wall of the First Financial Center in downtown Cincinnati. Absolutely worth seeing up close.
