I decided I needed a new plate set! I’ve glazed these in a combination of studio and commercial glazes. A commercial green, and studio made orange street with droplets of studio glaze butterscotch. I’m excited to see how these come out.

Look at me go! I’m going to be at The Artist Next Door art sale on May 23rd. Hosted by the Plainsight Weyburn Art Collective, this is the first event of its kind in Weyburn. I will also be demonstrating this technique: sgraffito.

Calling out my Grandpa Lanning. He instilled a belief in me that fixing things is easy and that I will have no issues doing so. Because he did it, so i can do it too.

I get myself into some pickles sometimes! I kinda leap before i look.

But Grandpa wasn’t wrong. I have always solved any issues that arise. It’s just that middle part of the doing and thinking that causes the anxiety.
