This is very sad news. Sarah is an amazing woman who has touched the hearts of so many. We were first next door business buddy neighbours and then when Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer she passed her gorgeous shop space onto Tonic.
The cheerful yellow floors were handpainted by Sarah and Geri and much of her welcoming decor remained in Tonic. ( like that cute vintage couch..of course that was Sarah's! ;))
She even came back a few years later to help me do a deep clean and re-organization in the hidden back room so that Tonic could benefit from her mad organizational skills.
Her cookbooks have been part of our home for decades and even though I haven't yet told her...her calendar pictures seem to make it to my daughter´s fridge in each apartment she's lived in for the past 10 years.
I'm sure that any donations will be greatly appreciated and provide comfort for them both at this time and for Geri in the future. ❤️
