It's been a good break for my body and as a result, my mind. Being glued to my phone for over a decade absolutely had an effect on my personal relationships.

I am feeling pretty ok lately and I'm open to seeing one or two RETURNING clients. Sorry my body can't handle installs anymore!

Extension attachment does take much longer than loc creation, many people will assume the opposite. But essentially you need to crochet the entire length of your hair into the extension to hold adequately.

Most beads do not need to be removed for maintenance sessions but be aware that forcing items on your locs can lead to compression and breakage. Consider non porous materials and don't use items that have been painted or dyed or it can transfer to your hair!
I'm pretty low on stock of beads these days but if I see some appropriate beads I can restock if there is interest ✌🏻

Why don't I do removals anymore? Because I get the "how much longer?" nonsense when I'm only one hour in. If your hairdresser is going to wreck their body for multiple days in a row, consider we don't want your whining. No you don't get a discount. You're in for multiple days of this.

I don't always get to work on young locs and I'm constantly reminded of how fascinating the process can be watching how the hair incorporated into a stronger and more secure loc
