KARA YOO JEWELRY www.karayoo.com Kara Yoo Jewelry was founded in 2011 by the designer and maker Kara Yoo.

After being introduced to jewelry making by her sister, Kara started to look at pictures of jewelry and tried to recreate them as a hobby. She continued to make jewelry throughout university, where she studied business and entrepreneurship. She had always wanted to start her own business in the fashion industry, and felt she had the tools to start her own business after her undergraduate studies.

Kara wanted to expand her knowledge of jewelry making beyond those she learned herself, and enrolled in a metal smith program, where shortly after, started creating pieces to sell. Kara Yoo designs and creates all pieces in her studio in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
