Ruby has captivated the world for longer than history can record and it is easy to see why.

Its rich red color comes from chromium, the same element that gives ruby its distinctive glow under ultraviolet light. Ranking 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, it is surpassed in hardness only by diamond. Yet every ruby remains entirely unique, with its own color, character, and natural inclusions.
