Since the beginning of SMJ, one of our favourite parts of designing has been seeing who gravitates towards our jewelry, and how differently each person makes it their own.
There have always been pieces in our collections that feel fluid and go beyond traditional ideas of who jewelry is “for.” We love the diversity that comes with that: the same piece can feel completely different depending on who wears it, how they style it, and what it becomes a part of in their everyday life.
For FW26, designer Sarah Mulder leaned into this idea even further. The Bowery necklace, earrings and bracelet are sculptural, organic and intentionally easy to wear, pieces designed without gender in mind, and with the freedom to be interpreted in your own way.
Making SMJ a part of your day-to-day has always been at the heart of our design process. We want our jewelry to feel personal rather than prescriptive; to move between different styles, identities and ways of dressing, and ultimately become your own.
Jewelry should be open to everyone. x
