After graduating in 2000 with her Diploma in Fine Arts, Sarah traveled to Europe to study Art History, her first trip abroad further sparked her love for the arts. Sarah Mulder Jewelry is imagined, designed and finished in Vancouver, Canada. Sarah designs "Jewelry for City Dwellers with Bohemian Hearts" and focuses on statement pieces that can be tailored down to pair with everyday looks. Working with artisans, Sarah's designs are made from carved wax that are set in molds. The pieces are then finished in either 18k gold or 24k gold, silver or rhodium plating. Sarah pairs the designs with hand-cut semi-precious stones and finishes the jewelry in her studio in historic Gastown. Each piece is handmade to ensure a quality product.

It started as a feeling… and then the signs just kept showing up.

One opportunity led to another, conversations kept aligning, and before I knew it, I was saying yes to a summer shop in Vancouver on Granville Island (more details coming soon).

If you’ve ever had one of those moments where everything clicks into place, you’ll understand this. It didn’t feel random. It felt like the right next step.

So here we go… I’m opening a temporary shop in Vancouver to see what unfolds.

This space will be a mix of my handcrafted jewelry, original art, and artisan workshops… and honestly, so much more will unfold as we start to plan (which is half the magic).

The week has been so lovely already! Meeting new faces, reconnecting with longtime customers, and welcoming visitors who just happened to be in Vancouver at the same time as the pop-up and made a point to come by. There’s something really special about that. And truly, nothing beats the moment someone walks in already wearing SMJ, it never gets old.

We’ve loved sharing this space with , bringing together all the colour, texture, and pieces you didn’t know you needed until you saw them in person.

Studio sounds and little moments on repeat ✨

Back in the studio today in Gastown, surrounded by tools, textures, and that quiet magic that happens between designs and artwork. Winter always feels like a beautiful blur, long days, late nights, and a whole lot of creating behind the scenes.

There were so many highs in 2025, and now that 2026 is officially here, I’m stepping into it with fresh energy, big ideas, and even bigger plans. Spring is already whispering in the studio… new designs and artwork are launching this February, and the calendar is filling up with events, markets, and moments I can’t wait to share with you.
