Thank You Bijal Patel, my lovely and talented neighbor on Granvill Island! My husband saw this painting in her studio after a trip where we visited the Font De Gaume caves in south of France. Bijal’s painting reminded him of the extremely old carvings and paintings, that at times criss cross over each other, of animals and figures that faintly cover the walls and tunnels of the cave.
It’s the wonder of art that a contemporary painting can connect with paintings that were created 19 000 years ago!!!!

New inventory pieces in the works!
A ’Northern Spring” cuff and pendant.
The cuff is coming along nicely: all the branches are soldered on, 18 k green gold discs have been added for the main cluster of tart green and yellow diamonds, just placed upside down to show. I am adding a few more details like buds, beads and stones along the cuff.

The pendant will have a silver base, 18 k yellow gold branches, twigs and buds, as a frame but also reaching in towards a luminous oval emerald cabochon. Check back for updates ✨✨✨

Green is my absolute go to colour, my favourite colour, the colour that makes my heart sing.
Here are green things on the go: a pair of drop shaped perfectly green
tourmalines , a pair of minty green garnets, a knock out insanely bluegreen zircon and a beautiful straw green sultanate…..
