Our creator, Liana had a penchant for jewelry making since she was a child. It’s an art that she inherited from her grandmother in Moscow. After graduating from Western University, she went backpacking to know her true calling. On her journey as an established professional photographer for high end fitness brands and being a mother to three, she rediscovered her safe place in jewelry making. It’s

her third year as a successful designer and entrepreneur now. From being an e-store to having six retail locations in Ontario itself, Rocking Vibe has evolved. It’s our detailing that makes every piece unique and extraordinary. Each crystal speaks a different story. When you adopt one of our pieces, it becomes a part of who you are. Your name has followed you through every version of yourself — longer than any job, any relationship, any role you've played.

It's the one thing that was always just yours.

We know, on some level, that our own name carries weight.

But wearing your own initial can feel like announcing something — like you're asking to be looked at, when most of us were taught to earn attention quietly, or not ask for it at all.

It can feel less like self-expression and more like self-indulgence. That reaction is real. It's also worth questioning: noticing yourself isn't the same as needing everyone else to. No one else has to clock the letter at your collarbone for it to mean something. It only has to mean something to you.
Stepping into the main character role isn't the easy option — it never has been. It's easier to disappear into everyone else's story than to say, quietly, that yours matters too. That's not a character flaw. It's just harder. Which is exactly why it's worth doing anyway.

You are not a supporting character in your own story. You are the lead. Wear your name like you mean it.
That's not a slogan. That's the actual point of our NAMESAKE collections — and it's a decision you get to make again every single time you put the piece on.

I keep coming back to mixed metals.

Gold brings the warmth. Steel gives it a little bite. Put them together and the jewellery has more contrast, more movement and so much more personality.

The old rule about matching metals never made much sense to me. Trusting your own eye feels better. The combination becomes yours, and even pieces you’ve worn for years suddenly feel new again.

And adding your own initial? That brings a whole other layer of awesome. I’ll save that for another post.

REFLECTION: The first BLACK PEARLS strand was made for myl husband.

It just became mine first.

He had asked me to create a black pearl necklace for him. The request sounded straightforward. Finding the pearls was anything but. Black pearls are difficult to source, and it took me a few months to get them.

When I finally did, I knew the piece would be special.

I made his necklace.

Then I tried it on.

One outfit became another, and then another. I kept reaching for it, drawn to the way it changed every look and the way I felt wearing it. By the time I handed it over, I had already fallen for the piece I had made for him.

Then he put it on, and it changed again.

On me, it felt sensual, grounded and powerful. On him, the same strand carried a quiet confidence that was entirely his.

That was when I understood BLACK PEARL STRAND.

The necklace did not define either of us. It reflected the person wearing it.

We stopped calling the original strand his. We share it now.

Apparently, we were not the only ones who felt something for this piece.

The first preorder sold out before BLACK PEARL STRAND even reached the product page. I sourced more, and the second release sold out in two weeks.

Then I could not source the pearls again, and BLACK PEARL STRAND disappeared.

Until now.

I finally was able to source enough to make approximately 20 more strands.

This is the kind of piece that lives with you for decades. Worn, borrowed, remembered and, one day, passed on.

For him or for her - BLACK PEARL STRAND is back. The last two releases did not stay long.

Some women wear jewelry. Some women bring it to life.

She walked into Muskoka Fashion Week on opening night and gravitated toward my display.

She picked up MOI and took her home because, the moment she put her on, MOI reflected something that was already within her.

The next day, she came back and chose two BIAs to build another look.

Then closing night came.

Zoé Roosen arrived in a look that was entirely her own. The hat. The plum suit. The layers. The confidence.

She stole the spotlight. All eyes were on her, and she owned the room.

There is something incredible about seeing a woman choose my designs and make them unmistakably hers.

Zoe, you did not simply wear the pieces. You gave them energy, attitude and life.

That kind of frequency cannot be ignored.

This look is yours, Zoe. You brought the entire vision to life and reminded me exactly why designing with intention matters.

For the second year in a row, I was invited to showcase at Muskoka Fashion Week . Of all my looks that walked the runway, one stood out most: JUNO + REBEL combo

I designed REBEL for the ones who rewrite the narrative instead of following it. I designed JUNO for a goddess to make a statement.

First styled in CHAUDESWIMWEAR , then in a stunning look from Cou —both female designers—the same pairing transformed completely: proof that timeless never has to mean predictable.

I make pieces to be interpreted, not worn quietly. The runway was a good reminder why.

These are the pieces that become part of your signature.
The ones you reach for again and again.
The ones that never go out of style.
