The tennis bracelet is named for a woman who stopped a match to get her diamonds back. Play was suspended. Thousands waited. Not because the bracelet was expensive. Because it was hers.
That is the entire thesis of the piece. A continuous line of matched stones, each one chosen to sit beside the next, closed around the wrist of someone who did not wait for diamonds to be given to her. She commissioned her own.
This one was built stone by stone in a Yorkville atelier for a client who knew exactly what she envisioned.
