The Wonder Ring began the same way as the Bold Ring.
With paper.

Before I ever touched silver, I spent hours cutting, folding, and wrapping paper around my finger, exploring how sculptural forms could move with the hand while remaining comfortable to wear.

But this design took a different path.
Instead of soft, flowing curves, the paper led me towards something more architectural. Strong lines. Bold geometry. A ring that extends down the finger and sits just beneath the knuckle, becoming part of the hand rather than simply resting on it.

Once I was happy with the form, it was carved in wax and cast in sterling silver.
Sometimes the same creative process can lead to completely different ideas.
The Wonder Ring has been one of those pieces for me.

At the end of August, this original version leaves the collection and won't return.

**INTERLUDE — PLAYING WITH PROPORTION**

Interlude is where I get to play a little more with composition — bringing different gemstones together and working with colour, scale and proportion.

Some become chunky, contemporary collars with real presence — a statement piece that can completely change something very simple.

Others I make smaller and more understated. They don’t demand quite as much attention, but there is still something unexpected in the combination of stones, colour and shape that makes them interesting to wear.

I love both.

Jewellery doesn’t always have to be saved for dressing up. These work just as easily with a simple black T-shirt as they do with something more polished for work or dinner.

Each Interlude is made individually, so the combination and composition changes from one necklace to the next.

The Wave Ring began with a sculpture.

I've loved the work of Barbara Hepworth since I was young. Growing up in Hull, I was lucky enough to see some of her sculptures in my local art gallery. They stayed with me.

Like Hepworth, I find endless inspiration in nature. She translated it into stone. I wanted to explore those ideas through jewellery, creating something that became part of the body rather than simply sitting on it.

The Wave Ring extends down onto the hand, sitting just below the knuckle. It's bold, sculptural, and designed to feel as though it belongs there.

For over ten years, it's been part of my collection.
At the end of August, this version leaves the collection, making space for what comes next.

STREAM SONG — COLOUR, LIGHT & STONE

Some gemstones I’m drawn to simply because of their colour, luminosity and the way they respond to light.

Citrine is a favourite — golden and luminous, with wonderful differences in structure from one stone to the next.

Kyanite has an entirely different character. I love those deep teal and ocean blues, the streaks and shifts of colour within the stones, and the richness it brings when worn.

Ammonite, in this deep green, draws me straight back to the natural world. I spend so much time in the forest and garden that I’m always drawn to those rich, living chlorophyll greens.

Made into simple gemstone collars, they have enough presence to make a statement, but they don’t need to be saved for an occasion — worn to work, out for dinner, or simply with a T-shirt and jeans.

INTERLUDE & STREAM SONG
I've always loved working with gemstones — the colour, texture and transparency, and the individuality each stone brings to a piece.
Interlude brings two different gemstones together, playing with contrasts in colour, shape and proportion to create deliberately asymmetric compositions.
Stream Song follows one gemstone throughout, allowing its natural variations in colour, translucency and markings to create the rhythm of the piece.
Each necklace is one of a kind, threaded and knotted by hand in my Squamish studio.

A small note on the imagery — some of the model images have been created using AI to help show the approximate scale and length of the necklaces when worn. The jewellery itself is entirely designed and made by me, and the product photographs show the actual necklace you will receive.

One of the questions I’m asked most often is:

"What colour gold should I choose?"

Gold isn’t just about karats—it’s about colour, character, and how it complements you. From the cool, understated tones of natural white gold to the warmth of rich yellow gold, each alloy has its own personality.

The differences can be subtle, but when they're side by side, you begin to see how each one catches the light in its own way.

When I work with clients on a bespoke commission, choosing the metal is one of my favourite parts of the design process. Together we consider your style, skin tone, lifestyle, and the story you want your jewellery to tell.

There isn’t a right or wrong choice—only the one that feels most like you.

The Bold Ring started with paper.

Not silver.

Before I made the first prototype, I spent hours cutting, folding and wrapping paper around my finger, trying to understand how a sculptural form could become comfortable enough to wear every day.
That was over ten years ago.
Since then, the design has continued to evolve, each version teaching me something new.

At the end of August, this original version leaves the collection to make space for what's next.

Sometimes the best designs aren't finished.
They just keep growing.

A little bit of studio fun from last week 👹🔨

We had friends staying with us, and I took their young son into the studio for a bit of making.

He created this brilliant little repoussé monster pendant — hammering his monster into the metal and then adding colour with wax paints afterwards.

I think he did a pretty amazing job! I love how completely kids throw themselves into making — no overthinking, just tools, colour and imagination. And, apparently, monsters. 😂

Three rings. One final chapter.

At the end of August, the Bold Ring, Wave Ring, and Wonder Ring leave the collection.

These rings were made before silver reached today's prices. They remain at the prices they were originally made for, and when this small batch is gone, these prices go with them.

This isn't a sale.
It's the beginning of The Edit. A more considered collection. Fewer pieces. More intention. Making space for where my work is heading next.

The Wave Ring and Wonder Ring won't return. The Bold Ring will evolve into a new form in the future.
