I began making jewellery when I was very young, spending hours sorting through beads and bobbles. Years later, I started my first few attempts at braiding and weaving horsehair for a few friends. Over the years (and through the wonder of the internet), I've learned several braiding and finishing techniques, and have now made countless unique pieces for horse owners to cherish as one of a kind memo
ries of their best friends, past and present. The name of the business comes from my own heart-horse, who was an awesome in every way Quarter Horse named Chad. His registered name is TwistaFate, and in so many ways, he totally lived up to it. For years I told myself I was going to make something for myself from Chad's tail. I was sure that he was going to live forever, so what was the rush? I lost him when he was only 16 years old. I have dedicated my jewellery making to Chad, focusing on cherishing what you have now, and have held on to so dearly from the past. Do it now. Love them fiercely when they are with you, and fiercely when you have to let them go.
