This trio pairs the deep indigo mystery of iolite with soothing Ocean Wave Jasper, nautical wave spacers, and a dainty silver compass charm. Here's the history behind it — the Vikings used iolite as a navigation tool. Norse explorers used thin slices of iolite as a polarizing filter to locate the sun on overcast days, helping them navigate the open seas, and it became known as the "Viking compass" stone. We close the week with the two big ones — our 𝐎𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 and 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜 bracelets. 🏙️

Together, Ontario and Quebec are home to more than half of Canada's entire population and were two of the four original provinces at Confederation in 1867. Today it's personal — meet our 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐤, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚, and 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 bracelets. Home sweet home.🥹🍁

A few things worth bragging about: New Brunswick is home to the world's longest covered bridge right here in Hartland, and the Bay of Fundy — right on our doorstep — holds the highest tides on Earth. PEI is the birthplace of Lucy Maud Montgomery and the setting of the beloved Anne of Green Gables. And Nova Scotia is home to the University of King's College — founded in 1789, Canada's oldest chartered university and the oldest English-speaking university in the Commonwealth outside the UK. It also happens to be where Fierce Lynx Designs' own Alison and Yvonne met! 🎓❤️

L'Anse aux Meadows, NL, is the oldest European settlement in North America, built by Vikings around 1,000 years ago.🪓
Two of Canada's youngest and most awe-inspiring — our 𝗡𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘃𝘂𝘁 and 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 & 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 bracelets.🌊

These two are actually tied together in history — Newfoundland became Canada's 10th province on March 31, 1949, and exactly 50 years later, on April 1, 1999, Nunavut became Canada's newest territory. Canada's youngest province and youngest territory were born half a century apart. Nunavut means "our land" in Inuktitut and covers over 1.8 million square kilometres — one fifth of Canada's entire land mass. 🍁

Today we sweep across the West — meet our 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚, 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚, 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐧, and 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐚 bracelets.🌾

From BC's Pacific coastline to the rolling prairies to the "Keystone Province" of Manitoba, this is a region of incredible range. Around 70 dinosaur species have been discovered in Alberta alone (including ammolites), and Saskatchewan is the only province or territory in Canada whose borders are entirely defined by straight lines — parallels and meridians, perfectly geometric on the map.🦕
