Hello Friends! It’s hard to believe we’re at the end of May. Our fantastic market is open for a very small window, so come take advantage of all there is to see, to eat, to feel and to purchase while you can. Here’s what’s new for me this week:

🧶I have 2 new shawl/ponchos this week. I finally got them off my loom. Come try one on!
🧶1 new headband. Sadly, I still wear a headband to block the wind from my ears when I’m out for a walk. I now have several to choose from.
🧶New earrings. All of my earrings that have silver in them are made with sterling silver - solid, not plated.

Please note that I will not be at the market next weekend, June 6.
Find me tomorrow May 30, 2026 at the
Kingston Farmers Market, Kingston, NB .

G’day Market Friends!

Our fabulous market is to be blessed with yet another prime weather day. A great opportunity to come check it out!
I had another dyeing week which leads to a NEW YARN ALERT!

🧶New River is the lovely new alpaca/silk (65/35). It is sport weight and ever so soft and fluffy!
🧶I now have oodles of colours in this wonderful bulky wool/alpaca air yarn (Red Head). I have found it just delightful to knit and weave with it.
🧶Many have enjoyed my Bloomfield Bouclé yarn and it is now restocked.
🧶I did manage to finish one headband this week
🧶And here’s a look at the fun stack of all the new yarn that I still have to label. lol

Hope to see you tomorrow at the

We’re looking at yet another gorgeous market day tomorrow! What a great start to the season! Here’s what’s new for me this week:

🧶I’ve begun replenishing my copper bracelet stock. I have a few of these made and hope to have a few more for tomorrow
🧶A lovely new scarf in a clasped warp design (ask me tomorrow and I’ll tell you all about it)
🧶A new headband
🧶Loom warped and waiting for my attention. New shawls - coming soon. How do you feel about yellow? Way out of my comfort zone, lol.
🧶I now have some pottery by Grace and Nathan. Most of these lovelies are for plants.

How was your week? Mine involved a lot of dyeing! So many beautiful colours! I have a really hard time staying away from purple, so I forced myself into a few other colours and I think I covered the rainbow. Here’s what’s new with me:

🧶NEW YARN ALERT!!! 2 new yarns to showcase this week. The first is 100% baby alpaca (Darlings) that I will have in 2 weights - worsted and fi*****ng. The second is a bulky yarn (Red Head), an air yarn (made by blowing air resulting in fluffy, light and soft) in wool, alpaca and nylon. I’m really enjoying working with this one. It’s in a lot of my hats and works beautifully in weaving.
🧶A restock of some other yarns Kiersteadville - 100% sport merino and the ever delightful Long Island - DK weight Merino/Silk/Linen
🧶One new fuzzy, warm hat. It’s soooo soft! And a headband that I really hope to finish.
🧶I also got a start on warping my loom for some new shawls (check out the trapeze set up in the background in amongst all the drying yarn).
🧶And more yarn still drying, lol.

Hope to see you tomorrow! Should be another great day at the
