Canadian School of Body Piercing

Canadian School of Body Piercing This is a course for individuals seeking employment or apprenticeships in the piercing industry. This will greatly reduce any chance of infection.

North American Body Piercing has been the primary type of piercing done in Canada although European Body Piercing was introduced some years ago. In this course the positives and negatives of both body piercing styles will be discussed. Even though the focus of both styles is sterilization and client safety there are some differences. It is a huge misconception to think that one style is better tha

n the other. Both styles have advantages and disadvantages but what it really comes down to is personal preference. North American Body Piercing and European Body Piercing follow the highest prevention of bloodborne and saliva-based pathogens. Therefore, regardless of style the greatest care and use of sterilization; quality instruments and the highest grade of surgical steel jewellery should be used. North American Body Piercing and European Body Piercing both use pre sterilized, single use needles with a very sharp and tapered edge. These needles allow for a very clean piercing with very little disruption to the surrounding tissue. The design of the needle allows for smoother jewellery transfer which equals less pain for the client. All instruments are individually packaged and sterilized. The aftercare products used by this course are all from recognized product manufacturers which produce quick healing of the skin tissue. Our course is held in a professional studio setting.
