As many of you likely know Bell Canada, in partnership with the Government of Saskatchewan, is building a 300MW data centre outside of Regina in the RM of Sherwood. In just one month 10,000 signatures have been collected for a petition AGAINST the construction of the data centre, but I think we can do better! 🤩

To hopefully encourage folks to sign the petition I am hosting a giveaway (plus this is your chance to snag some new product before it launches 😉)

Hey folks! We have an unfortunate update to the AI Data Centre coming to our province . The Provincial Government has announced their official partnership with Bell Canada. Because of this our priories have shifted.

With this update also comes some clarifications on the project, and while Bell and the provincial government claim the facility will not come from the municipal water supply and will use a closed loop cooling system, there will still be impacts on the environment and on the power bills of Saskatchewan residents.

We need everyone to do their part in making our voices heard: CONTACT your MLA, the RM of Sherwood, and your city councillor; SHARE the petition; SHARE articles on the affects of AI data centres; SHARE social media posts advocating against the AI data centres; TALK with you friends and family about the AI data centre; ATTEND community events advocating against the AI data centre.

There are folks in the works of planning a protest but in the meantime I cannot recommend enough the ANTI AI ZINE MAKING WORKSHOP being held at Fresh and Sweet on Saturday, March 21 from 4-6 pm! This event is being hosted by an amazing group of artists.

Long time no see. I took a little break from this account, buuuut I’ve had a lot brewing during that time ✨

Coming to Tomb Trinkets in 2026 are some NEW products! I’ve so many folks over the last year or so come across my booth and say “I love your work, but I don’t have my ears pierced!” Well fear not, my focus for 2026 is to expand beyond earrings, so here’s your first sneak peek at what I have in the works: ear cuffs, scrunchies, and pin back buttons! 🤩

Keep your eye out for up-close photos of these products, and maybe a few other items that have yet to be revealed 👀

Hello everyone!

This is very different from my usual posts, but I believe it is important that we draw attention to this issue at all costs. Bell Canada is proposing a 160-acre AI data centre campus just south of Regina and this will have a profound impact on our community. It is also deeply concerning how many requirements in the application process have been waived by our municipal government.

Please take the time to share this posts and make your voice heard. Sign the petitions, write your city councillor and MLA, if you are a current student or alumni of UofR or Sask Poly write to their leadership an demand accountability regarding their sustainability initiatives. 200+ sales, 9 markets, $225 raised for Lulu’s Lodge, and countless amazing people met along the way 🤩
